Matthew Berdyck is an American experimental filmmaker and environmental activist most notably known for his national environmental campaigns. In his film career he has created several solicited TV pilots (Turner Networks), created the first ever first person feature length documentary about homelessness, by living on the street for eighteen months of his life, short films about botched Superfund clean ups, and an experimental music video for a 2014 Grammy Nominee. His writing pieces on the subject of toxic waste have been read by hundreds of thousands of people in The United States. An avid traveler, Berdyck has logged 500,000 miles of US travel to over 1,500 cities while working as a professional filmmaker and Superfund activist. Post film career Matthew formed SuperfundResearch.org, an organization dedicated to maintaining transparency in the U.S E.P.A.’s Superfund project. He lives with his cat, Bunny, in Ridgecrest, California.

I have been watching these people do this to Matt for years. They do all kinds of crappy things to him because they don’t want to get caught. Matt just got $1000 stolen from him a couple of weeks ago by a person who works in the industry. This crazy guy Peter John Ross started bullying Matt in 2011. He got a copy of Matt’s criminal record and started forwarding it around to people, telling them that Matt was a homeless schizophrenic who was lying about making a TV show. What has been done to Matt should be a federal crime. I hope that Matt can use his story to get the laws changed. He is disabled and does not need this extra stress after everything he does for this country and toxic waste exposure victims.

Yes, it is. I don’t advertise it but I regularly hand out hundred dollars bills to homeless people. I gave a thousand dollars to a homelessness organization in Califirnia to help them start a community art program. I leave fifty dollar tips at every restaurant I go to, and also leave large tips for the maids at hotels. I help stranded motorists, buy motel rooms for homeless people, and a whole host of other things that never get written about because it’s not about getting credit but it’s about helping people, so I’m not worried about it.

this stuff ross doing is an incredible waste of time and energy. stop wasting everyone’s collective time peter and work to create something for yourself not latch onto people who are more successful than you

I too have watched these people abuse Matt. All of them are people who found him on the Internet, during one of his brilliant releases, and attacked him because they are jealous losers, especially Columbus filmmaker Peter John Ross, who is known all over LA for bullying people who are more successful than him. I hope someone puts him in jail.

You HAVE been paying attention!! Yeah, that Peter guy is a maniac. He tried to file an illegal Civil Stalking Protection Order against me, lied to the courts about my address, said I lived in Ohio, and then the Akron Poluce harassed some innocent family looking for me. When the judge got wind of what Peter did, she slapped his CSPO into the ground and dismissed it. Then, he tried to file AGAIN, but the judge slapped that one too and made it so he can never do that to me again. What’s even more crazy is that I have never met the guy in my entire life!!
